ABOUT THE EVENT

Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs aged 14 and older. Launched by the Tim Tebow foundation in 2015, Night to Shine has grown to a worldwide movement of 600 churches in 24 countries serving 200,000 guests through 100,000 volunteers.

At each prom world-wide, each guest with special needs begins the night with a limo ride up to the red carpet, complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi.

Once inside, guests receive the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining areas, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors, and of course, a dance floor… all leading up to the moment when each guest is crowned king or queen of the prom.

NIGHT TO SHINE TRI-VALLEY

Night to Shine Tri-Valley is one of the largest prom nights in the world. Last year, 450 people with special needs, 600 parents/caregivers, and over 850 volunteers created a special night at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton!

The night is free to all guests and their parents and caregivers. This event is 100% volunteer led and locally funded. The only funding received to make this night reality is raised through Night to Shine Tri-Valley donors and sponsors.

BLUE OAKS CHURCH

Each Night to Shine event around the world is hosted by a local church. Blue Oaks Church of Pleasanton, is thrilled to be the host church for 2020 because we want to be a demonstration of God’s love to the Tri-Valley.

PHOTOS FROM OUR PROM

We do our best to capture every moment from the night. We thank our many photographers who were all over the prom from the setup to the arrival, red carpet to crowning, karaoke to dance party!

There are many categories going back over the years so there are plenty to view!
